Waco Heat Softball anticipates many talented young ladies to make commitments once UIL/NCAA eligible.
WACO HEAT 18U 2ND BASEMAN ANGELO RODRIGUEZ SIGNS HIS NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT TO PLAY FOR NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE IN THE NORTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE WHERE HE WILL MAJOR IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE IN ADDITION TO PURSUING HIS BASEBALL CAREER.
CONGRATS TO CHANDLER CLARK FOR HIS RECENT COMMITTMENT TO PLAY FOR CEDAR VALLEY COLLEGE IN DALLAS. CHANDLER IS PITCHER FOR 18U-SHAVERS AND WE WISH HIM THE BEST IN HIS ATHLETIC AND ACADEMIC FUTURE.
Congrats to Byron Pyburn from UHS and his commitment to play and attend Abilene Christian University. Byron has been Coach Rodriguez’s neighbor for many years and recalls Byron as a young boy always working outside in the back yard on his Hit-Away Swing Trainer, swing after swing! Hard work pays off, good luck B!

Waco Heat would like to send a big congratulations to Isaac Garcia! Isaac has proudly played 3rd base and pitcher with Waco Heat for 3 years and will now be attending Baylor University, where he will major in Accounting and Business. Isaac also graduated 5th in his class at Connaly High School and will be receiving a full academic scholarship to attend Baylor. Many schools have highly recruited Isaac as of recently for baseball however, Isaac feels God has called him to attend Baylor and will be attending baseball tryouts when made available next season. We are very proud of you for your excellence on and off the field. We are proud that God has always remained #1 in your life and your decisions have been steered by your faith. We wish you well Isaac in your academic and also baseball future! Sic’em Bears!

WACO HEAT’S HISTORY IS VERY SHORT AND OUR 18U TEAM IS THE FIRST GRADUATING CLASS WITH OUR ORGANIZATION.
